While The Treasury is probably the most photographed and recognizable façade of Petra, “Ad Deir,” or the Monastery, is just as impressive – the stop-you-in-your-footsteps kind of impressive.
Tucked away on a plateau on the other side of the Petra complex, past the worn Colonnaded Street, the magnificent ruins of the Great Temple, the former dipping pool of the Nabateans, and a camel rest station, is the magnificent Ad Deir.
From our journal: “After hiking some 800 steps we were greeted by the spectacular façade of Ad Deir. There was a Bedouin woman tending to a small herd of goats and just a handful of tourists. We took a seat and marveled at the size and symmetry and couldn’t believe that we could be in the presence of and marvel at this magnificent piece of history.”

Materials: We keep it simple, clean and modern. All prints are offered in thin wood or metal frames to complement any interior style.

Colors: Neutral is the name of the game. We want to let these pictures pop! Most frames are offered in black, white and wheat

Mats: Mats draw our eyes into the picture, compelling long stares and mindful moments. Each mat is 2” wide around each side. Mats are optional, and available for our Petite, Small and Standard-sized frames.

Size: We offer up to 5 sizes ranging from our “petite” (18" x 12"), which makes for a perfect shelfie, to our museum-like “Statement” size (54" x 36"). Not all prints are offered in Large and Statement sizes.
