Nothing polishes a statement-making, wanderlust-inducing travel print like a frame, or a mat and frame combo. Here’s the run-down on our framed products!
What kind of frames do you offer?
We keep it simple and offer two clean, modern frame materials, wood and metal. These frame options provide the perfect finishing touch to each print, and complement any interior aesthetic, ranging from traditional to boho, minimalistic to global and everything in between.!
What kind of paper are your prints printed on?
All fine art prints are printed on premium semi-matte paper using archival-grade ink (the good stuff!) and state-of-the-art large format printers. Our prints are dry mounted to acid free foam-core backing, so they don’t warp and continue to provoke wanderlust for years on end.
What are your frames made out of?
Our custom frames are made by a small, family-run business based out of Connecticut. All of our wood frames are carefully constructed from North American Poplar and a high-quality wood wrap, which makes our frames more eco-friendly, affordable, and less likely to warp.
We want to do our part for the environment, and made sure to partner with a frame vendor who makes strides to source wood sustainably. Our partners choose suppliers that are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, an organization focused on advancing sustainability and forest conservation.
Do you plan to offer prints on any other medium, materials, or frames?
We love the clean, modern aesthetic that our wood and metal framed prints offer. In the future, we hope to expand to full-metal prints to continue giving your walls a sophisticated, high-style, and museum-curated aesthetic. Stay tuned!
Are mats available for all print size options?
Mats are optional for most sizes. Each mat is 2” wide around each side. Mats are not available for our Large and Statement frames.
What picture frame finishes do you use?
We use a clear glass-like acrylic for each framed print. We find it brings a wonderful clarity to each picture frame. It is also lighter, more affordable, and filters some UV light. Please shoot us a note if you prefer a non-glare acrylic, which will diffuse some light and reflection and soften the color of each fine art print.

Does my frame come with hanging equipment?
Save yourself a trip to the store! All LensCaptivate frame orders come ready-to-hang.
What kind of hanging equipment do you use?
We fasten industry-standard D-rings and hanging wire to each frame, and attach square felt pads to the corners. This ensures our prints hang securely on your walls. Each frame also comes with a hook and steel nail, so they’re ready to hang upon arrival.

How wide are your mats?
All of our mats are 2” wide, giving a modern, archival look to each print.
How wide is each frame?
All of our wood frames are just over 1” thin and have a flat face, giving a perfectly clean look to your walls. From modern to minimal, traditional to boho, our frames complement any interior aesthetic. All of our metal frames are 3/8” wide.
What are your frame dimensions with and without a mat?
All dimensions are in inches.

Style
Creating a curated, wanderlust-inspired space
Do I need a mat?
While mats are optional, we find that mats help to draw our easily distracted eyes into a picture, and compel long stares and mindful pauses. We love our Large and Statement prints without a mat.
What if I want a print in a different size or color?

Policies
What is your return policy?
As a small business, we are unable to accommodate returns at this time. However we want you to absolutely love your print. If you are not satisfied let us know.
What is your shipping policy?
Trust us - we are as excited as you to deck your walls with some wanderlust-inducing fever, and we strive to fulfill your order swiftly! Orders typically print and ship in about two weeks, and we'll make sure to keep you updated on the status.
