The world is full of strikingly beautiful places and Iceland is easily one of them. 

Iceland is a country full of beautiful juxtapositions. It’s a country where active volcanoes lurk beneath frosty glaciers. Where wildflower fields flank rocky facades and staggering cliffs. Where soft, foamy white waves collide with jet-black volcanic sand. Where a cold, wild and often unpredictable climate shares a home with some of the most friendly and open people. While Iceland’s picturesque landscape is one of drama and contrast, it also boasts boundless natural beauty.

Like the country, this photo series is a collection of contrasts. Some of these photos aim to capture the whimsical, painting-like landscape and breathtaking natural environment by using soft edits and earthy tones. For other prints, we dialed up the saturation and clarity to emphasize the contrast and depth of texture - they'll pop right off your walls!

Taken during a week-long road trip around Iceland's South Coast and Golden Circle, we hope these photos provide a glimpse of Iceland's magic.
